I smell like fresh, quality soap and I .I like a clean fresh fragrance, but Prada’s soapy DNA is just so sterile and plain. I prefer fragrances with more personality. Love it, I‘m a sucker for soapy, powdery scents. I have the whole L‘Homme line, the Amber Pour Homme line and Les Infusions de Prada Iris Cedre.
L'Homme has quality construction, wide appeal, and a distinctive character - not an easy hat trick. It deserves its success. I don't have a bottle for myself yet, but I'm constantly waffling over one. It's so good. And it's not 0. I own 3 bottles of Prada l'homme, 2 from 2016 and 1 from "late 2017". There is definitively a difference in the opening of the newest one. But I dont know if it is a standard batch variation or a reformulation. The latest L'homme seems to have toned down the Neroli a bit.
I'd say L'homme is more versatile (day/night/office/multi season) & probably favored by more ladies. Intense is more interesting, mature, & strikes me as more of a night scent. To me it smelled fantastic and I immediately bought a backup bottle (which I still have). It lasts over 10 hours easily and I never had some sort of metallic acidic notes - but the L'Eau version probably has that very slightly, it's certainly a little bit sharper . Was looking for a clean, gentle, soft and versatile fragrance that I could wear on most occassions without smelling too "cologny" and I thought I found it in Prada L'homme. It was described exactly as above, and was recommended often for office/casual wear.
