yes, you are wrong, depending on the time and the circumstances Rolex has made non-18k gold braclets/watches. There has been 9k with can not even be called gold in the US. There was Rolesor which was a goldmix which I do not remeber the purity off.

Does anyone know a more specific production year or serial number after which the 16014s started using 18k bezels?
