Have not tried L'Homme Parfum Intense but have Ultime(blind buy). I've tested YSL L'Homme at Sephora and Ultime is stronger/projects/lasts longer than L'Homme. To my nose the ginger stands out to me, during the opening slightly and more during the drydown. YSL l’homme is one of my favorite scents to smell on men. This is could also be for a man who wears only one fragrance. I can also see a very confident woman pulling this off. I would personally suggest "L'Homme Ultime" over "L'Homme Cologne Bleue" as Ultime is just the superior fragrance in my opinion & works great in the summer! I heard it was recently discontinued so if interested you might want to pick up a bottle as soon as possible!
